It seems that the flower symbolizing autumn in Korea has changed from cosmos to Pink Muhly these days. It’s popular among women in their 20s and 30s, the flower is expected to bloom all over the country this fall. Pink Muhly, which has a Korean word “gobaek,(confession)” matches the meaning of the flower well. Why don’t you go on an autumn Pink Muhly trip with your family or lover this fall when the cool autumn wind blows and the blue sky rises?

Pink Muhly, which has a Korean word “gobaek,(confession)” matches the meaning of the flower well. Pink Muhly is originally a perennial plant native to the warm plains of the western and central United States, but has been used as a landscaped flower for years ago. I’m looking forward to seeing Pink Muhly again this fall, which contrasts beautifully with the high and blue skylight.
It is said that many parts of the country are preparing for the Pink Muhly Festival, and most of all, where it blooms first and how rich it is will be a key factor in deciding travel or photo snap-taking.
In addition to spring, fall is also the season of marriage. I’m sure most of you who are planning to get married this fall are preparing for a wedding-snap shot, but these days, more people are celebrating with just two natural studios than with other people’s wedding photos. This year, again, the place where Pink Muhly is in full bloom will be highlighted as an outdoor studio for wedding snaps.
From the fall of 2018, we could see Pink Muhly in Seoul area. This is because the Hangang Park and nearby Pink Muhly colony were created. Let’s see where we can see Pink Muhly in Seoul area.
Hangang Park
The ‘Grass Garden’ was built in Jamwon Hangang Park, which was constructed with Pink Muhly and another 25 species of perennial plants. The ‘Grass Garden’ is decorated with a variety of grasses, not flowers, and it is characterized by emitting different colors throughout the four seasons. In addition to Pink Muhly, you can take pictures against the background of a variety of autumnal accents.
At Jamwon Hangang Park, you can enjoy Pink Muhly from the end of September to November. It’s still in bloom, but we’re expecting to see the widest and most abundant Pink Muhly in mid-October. Rather than the entrance to the garden, walking along the inner promenade will give you a chance to meet the deeper pink-colored Pink Muhly.
Yangjaecheon Stream
You can also see Pink Muhly in Yangjaecheon Stream. It’s not as big as other Pink Muhly parks, but I think it will be a hot spot in the future because there are many good settings to take pictures.
Haneul Park (Sky Park)
Haneul Park is known to be one of the must-visit places in Seoul, especially during the Autumn. It is because Seoul Silver Grass Festival 2018 will take place at World Cup Park’s Haneul Park every autumn. This year, the festival was held from Oct 18 to Oct 24, 2019. During the festival, you can expect many visitors and a big crowd at Haneul Park. Many people tend to visit the park during the festival but in fact, you can still enjoy the beautiful silver grass at Haneul Park even after the festival.
As you walk up to Haneul Park from World Cup Stadium Station, you can enjoy a beautiful view overlooking World Cup Stadium. The scene is so beautiful in Autumn as you can see the pretty orange and red autumn leaves around World Cup Stadium.
Yangju Nari Park
It’s Nari Park in Yangju City, the closest Pink Muhly hot spot to Seoul. A variety of autumn plants such as Globe amaranth, autumn roses, and Angelonia show off their splendor. Especially, the Pink Muhly colony that was created in Nari Park is getting word of mouth rapidly through Social Media in recent years. People are constantly coming to see it. Pink Muhly, which blooms until early November, is the most beautiful time, so you’d better hurry around before it gets colder!
In addition to Pink Muhly, you can also see about 50 kinds of autumn flowers and purple flowers.
