‘BLACKPINK’ has emerged as the largest female artist with many subscribers on YouTube worldwide.
According to YG Entertainment on the 24th, Blackpink’s official YouTube channel subscribers surpassed 42.3 million as of 8 am on the day.
That’s more than the top pop stars like Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Liana. Blackpink is counted on five fingers with Justin Bieber, DJ Marshmallow, Ed Sheeran, and Eminem.
YG Entertainment said, “The number of YouTube channel subscribers is one of the criteria for objectively showing the popularity and recognition of artists. This is because the loyal fandom’s constant interest, expectations, and confidence toward future content often lead to subscriptions.”
Black Pink released the new song ‘How You Like That’ on the 26th of last month.
After the release of the new song, Blackpink’s YouTube channel subscribers increased by 5 million in a month.
