BLACKPINK’s ‘Ice Cream’ M/V has reached 100 million views in a Day and half

BLACKPINK’s music video for “Ice Cream” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube in a day and a half. With this, BLACKPINK has produced its 21st 100 million-view video and once again showed off its reputation as a YouTube queen.

According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s music video for “Ice Cream” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube at 5:56 a.m. on the 30th of August. It’s only been 40 hours and 56 minutes since it was released at 1 p.m. on the 28th. This is the second fastest music video ever released by BLACKPINK after “How You Like That” (32 hours).

“Ice Cream” is a pop genre song with simple rhythms and cheerful sounds, and the music video captivated global music fans with its cute and refreshing concept that BLACKPINK first tried. Also, ‘Ice Cream’ won three awards on the digital albums, new songs and music video charts of QQ Music, China’s largest music source site. In Kogou Music and Kuwo Music, it swept the top of the weekly charts in just one day.
