“2018 SBS Gayo Daejun” was held at Gocheok Sky Dome, Guro-gu, Seoul on 25th December. At the event, the stars of KPOP such as BTS, EXO, Wanna One, Red Velvet, MONSTA X, TWICE, and iKON gathered together and performed a unique performance.
The opening was staged by the rookie of the year, (G)I-dle, The Boyz and Stray Kids, and the long-awaited ending was performed by EXO both sexy and trendy with ‘Love Shot’ and ‘Tempo’.
To look at the venue of the festival, the artists showed off different performances that could only be seen at the end-of-the-year festival through various collaboration stages, and ended the festival without any accidents.
However, there was a controversy among the fans ARMY and EXO-L. Prior to the start of “2018 SBS Gayo Daejun,” controversy erupted as a Q Sheet leaked. According to Q Sheet, EXO put its name on the list in the last order, and after seeing it, BTS’s Pandam ARMY argued with it.
According to the ARMY claim, this year’s BTS had a such a good performance globally not only in the US billboard also Korea, and the had gained national prestige, so BTS should stand the ending stage.
EXO Fandom EXO-L also had something to say. EXO also boasts an overwhelming record album sales volume this year, and the recently released their regular 5th album has become a quintuple million seller, so EXO is deserving of an ending stage.
In the end, EXO rose to the ending stage and satisfied fans’ expectations by their awesome performance.
BTS also greeted fans on the final stage with a surprise bow.
