K-pop megastar boy group BTS wrote history as it became the first Korean band to present at the Grammy Awards, and they seemingly enjoyed every moment of their night out at the show.

The septet took the stage to announce the winner for the best R&B album category, awarding a Grammy to H.E.R for her self-titled album.

“Growing up in South Korea, we always dreamed of being on the Grammys stage,” group leader RM said. “Thank you all our fans for making this dream come true and we’ll be back.”

The seven members of BTS have made history as the first Korean pop group to crush three sold-out world tours, perform at New York’s Citi Field Stadium in the U.S. and make a heartwarming speech at the United Nations.

BTS’ latest album “Love Yourself: Tear” was nominated for Best Recording Package at this year’s Grammys, alongside HuskyFox, a professional branding company based in Seoul.

Although BTS lost to St. Vincent, its album marks the first Korean nomination in any category by the “conservative” Recording Academy.

“HuskyFox and BTS’ Love Yourself: Tear recording package nomination at the Grammys brings great honor and pride. We, BTS ARMY, are all so proud of you. There are more great things in life. This is just one of the many other great things coming,” BTS ARMY, the official fan club, wrote on Twitter right after the winner announcement.

Before taking the stage, the septet showed excitement on the red carpet ahead of the show. “We are so honored,” member Suga told AP. “It’s like a dream over dream. It’s the longest red carpet we’ve ever had. It’s the biggest night in music so it means so much for us,” group leader RM added.

Jungkook was also quoted, saying, “It’s a blessing that we can get so much love for doing what we love. We are so thankful.”

The group showed excitement to see Travis Scott, H.E.R, Lady Gaga and Camila Cabello, and were caught multiple times on camera singing and dancing along the performances, and Jungkook even tearing up during the Dolly Parton tribute performance.

BTS also teased its upcoming album during a red carpet interview with Recording Academy. RM said the album would be out “Sooner than later.” “There could also be a collaboration/joint song. We stayed up all night to work on our next album before the flight,” he added.

The septet is reportedly working on its first English language album with producer Steve Aoki.

Being the center of attention, the members’ black tuxedos and hair colors were among the headliners. They all wore Korean designers on the red carpet ― V, Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, Suga and RM’s came from JayBaek Couture while J-Hope’s came from designer Kim Seo-ryong, whose namesake label has long been a fixture at Seoul Fashion Week, according to Vogue.

This year’s Grammy Awards ceremony was aired on Mnet on Monday from 9:50 a.m. (KST) in South Korea.
