BTS Footsteps Tour with Mexican Army♡ We purple you♡

I followed the Army Tour that is on sale on our site. Before I joined the tour, a tour assistant and she stopped by the Gangnam Tourist Center and had a KPOP-related experience, and had lunch at “The” famous Yujung Sikdang, where BTS used to visit a lot when they were trainees. On the way to Yujung Sikdang, they also got to visit the old building of BigHit Entertainment, BTS’ agency(which is now used as Girlfriend’s agency). Army from all over the world scribbled on the walls of the building. Then I joined them on K-Star Road in Apgujeong, and took a picture of her with BTS’ character. Look at her BT21 shopping bag and her smile! You can imagine how happy she is 🙂

As we walked a lot, we were tired and we took a coffee break at Cafe in Cheongdam. This beautiful Mexican friend’s smile was gorgeous.

She said she wanted to buy KPOP CDs or BTS items, so we moved to Myeongdong from Cheongdam. I decided to take a bus instead of the subway, because one can go from Apgujeong to Myeongdong by bus at once. It started to rain little by little from this point. In fact, she bought an umbrella at BT21 on the same day and got to use it right away.

It took 40 to 50 minutes for us to get to Myeongdong from Gangnam. When we were about to go into the underground shopping mall in Myeong-dong, we saw BTS’ cosmetic ads appeared at the entrance of the underground shopping mall and captured the moment in photos. I felt even happier to start shopping witnessing BTS.

Before we started shopping in earnest, we stopped by Star Avenue at Lotte Department Store in Myeong-dong. There were pictures of various singers, including TWICE and Super Junior, as well as BTS, and handprints. It was great fun to put our hands on our beloved BTS’ handprints and compare our hands to their sizes.

Tourists from so many different countries were there to see Korean singers’ handprints and to take pictures with them. The member’s video played next to him when we put our hands on his handprints, which was quite cool!

Then we returned to Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center. Not only Korean souvenirs but also various artists’ items and CDs were being sold. She bought several fans with BTS on them to take them back to warm Mexico. Of course, she bought many other items, as well. If people who like Korean artists visit, they will be able to buy gifts for their friends as well as for themselves at an affordable price.

Myeong-dong Underground Shopping Center seems to be a good place to shop because you can enjoy shopping regardless of the weather. I wanted to buy a big poster or calendar that can be attached to the wall for myself as well(almost forgot my joc as a tour assistant). I am thinking about buying an RM poster next time I visit Myeongdong lol. I recommend you to look around from place to place carefully because there are different kinds of products in different shops!

It was a beautiful experience which has taught me that even though we couldn’t really communicate in a language, we still could feel the connection thanks to BTS. It’s really a great thing to have the same favorite artist with a foreign friend. I hope there will be more and more ARMYs in the world. It was a valuable experience to meet with ARMY from Mexico, and we’ll always root for BTS!
