BTS Jimin’s ‘Promise’ hits 30 million streams

Jimin’s solo track “Promise” has been streamed over 30 million times on SoundCloud as of Sunday.

The BTS member released his first self-composed song, “Promise,” on Jan. 1.

Upon its release, the track topped the New Hot and Top 50 charts of SoundCloud as well as worldwide music charts. It was still one of the trending tracks on SoundCloud on Sunday.

Jimin had told fans in his last V Live broadcast that “Promise” was originally a dark song, meant to reprimand himself while he was going through inner struggles. It blends acoustic guitar sounds with strong, sentimental vocals.
