BTS will release its 4th full-length album and begin a new stadium-level world tour in April. Big Hit Entertainment, the agency, announced today that BTS would start its “BTS Map of the Soul Tour” with the first concert in Seoul Olympic Stadium on April 11th.
Big Hit released posters announcing the tour’s hosting on its official SNS and the main poster of the Seoul Tour and announced the schedule for the first tour. BTS will perform 37 times in 17 cities such as South Korea, the United States, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain. “We have only announced the schedule for the tour with fixed dates and locations, and we plan to release the detailed schedule that will be decided in the future,” Big Hit said.
From August to October last year, BTS staged 62 performances in 23 cities around the world, attracting 2.06 million spectators. In particular, “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” became the first Korean singer to hold the event at a stadium with more than 50,000 seats. The new tour series, “BTS Map of the Soul Tour,” will also be held at stadiums and domes of equal size.
