BTS has been named one of TIME magazine’s “25 Most Influential People on the Internet” for 2018.
It’s unranked, but the Korean boy band was made the cut for the success of their latest EP, “Love Yourself: Tear,” the first K-pop album to make it to the top of the Billboard 200.
TIME said the real engine of their success was the group’s powerful fan base, which calls itself the “ARMY” devoted to anything related to the group, from tweets to videos.
BTS was also on the Billboard’s Social 50 chart for almost 90 weeks, beating Justin Bieber. The boys also bagged the top social artist award, back to back.
