According to the US Billboard chart on the 24th (local time), the BTS ‘new album’ LOVE YOURSELF ‘Her’ was ranked 7th on the album chart 200. Pure album sales, track sales and streaming results. This ranking will be officially listed on the website on the 26th.

BTS continue to push where no K-pop act has gone before with a debut in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 album chart.

It is the highest-ranking of Asian artists as well as K-pop singers. The highest-ranking was Philippine Chalice Pempinko’s Chalice in eighth place on May 29, 2010.

The highest number of Korean singers was in the 26th ranked BTS ‘Wings’ last October. The BTS has scratched their records in less than a year. In addition, the BTS recorded a record for the first time as a Korean artist, with five albums entering the Billboard 200 continuously.

The relationship between the BTS and the billboard is unique. BTS has won the Top Social Artist award at the Billboard Music Awards in May which they hold Justin Bieber’s six consecutive awards on that category.

The album, which was released on the 18th September, recorded the highest order volume of 1,122,446 as a result of the pre-order finalization. According to Hanteo Chart, the BTS’ album sold 759,263 copies during the first week of the album’s release (last 18-24 days).

The new album of BTS is raging in the world music market. BTS was ranked # 90 on the UK singles chart with his new song ‘DNA’ on the 23rd. BTS was ranked # 13 in Sweden, # 18 in Belgium, # 19 in Ireland (IRMA), # 56 in Italy, # 57 in Germany and # 57 in Germany Album charts.

While BTS landing in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 is an accomplishment in and of itself, if the band can simultaneously score an entry on the Hot 100, it will make them only the second K-pop act to land a Korean-language song on the singles chart. To date, only PSY, Wonder Girls and CL have landed songs on the ranking, with the latter two’s entries in English. BTS’ “Spring Day” debuted at No. 15 on Billboard‘s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart earlier this year, the closest Korean-language song to make it onto the Hot 100 until Blackpink’s “As If It’s Your Last” hit No. 13 this summer.
