BTS has won the Daesang(grand prize) for the fourth consecutive year in the album of the year category of the “Golden Disc Awards.”
The 2021 Golden Disc Awards, which marks its 35th anniversary this year, was held without an audience for the first time in history due to the COVID 19.
BTS won the Daesang(grand prize) for the fourth consecutive year. BTS won not only Daesang but also Bonsnag of Album category and Curaprox Golden Disc Most Popular Artist award as well. NCT, EXO, Baekhyun TXT, GOT7, BLACKPINK, TWICE, Seventeen, NCT127 and BTS were among the winners of the Best album category.
QQ Music Fan’s Choice K-pop Artist Award was won by EXO, Best Performance went to (G)I-DLE and Stray Kids. NCT127 won the Cosmopolitan Artist Award. The best O.S.T. award for Cho Jung-seok, who topped the music charts with “Aroha” sung in the Korean drama “Hospital Playlist.”
The Rookie of the Year awards were received by ENHYPEN, Treasure and Kim Ho-joong. Kim Ho-joong, who is currently serving his military duty as a social service worker, replaced his feelings with a video clip.
