On November 1st, the city of Seoul has released a special edition of ‘Discover Seoul Pass‘ PyeongChang, which can receive up to 50% discount on large resorts and sightseeing spots in Seoul and Gangwon area.
PyeongChang Winter Olympics D-100 will be limited to 5,000 copies only. PyeongChang special edition is available until March 31, 2018.
The ‘Discover Seoul Pass’ is a one-card ticket for foreigners who can receive free admission to 21 major tourist attractions in Seoul, 13 performances and discounts on duty-free shops.

In addition to the existing Seoul Pass’ benefits, 61 discounts were added to major tourist resorts such as Alpensia, High 1, and Phoenix PyeongChang, as well as 10 major resorts in Gangwon area, Daegwanlyeong sheep ranch, Jeongseon rail bikes, and rental cars and cruise ships.
10% discount on accommodation sharing site Airbnb. Free admission tickets to the Seoul Square skating rink, Paradise Casino Walkerhill and the Marigold Hotel discount are also included. The pass is priced at 39,900 won for 24 hours and 55,000 won for 48 hours.
From November 1, it can be purchased at 25 places including CU convenience store in Incheon Airport, Myongdong Tourist Information Center, and 12 online sites such as HaB Korea.net. A special event will be held to give a total of 100 people free nights to customers who bought two 48-hour tickets at the Paradise Casino Walkerhill in commemoration of the special edition launch.
Seo Byung-gon, acting president of Seoul Tourism Marketing, said, “By expanding services such as the launch of Mobile Pass, we will make Discovery Seoul Pass a tourist necessity linking Seoul and the province.”
