Everland will hold a new year countdown festival on the evening of the 31st to end the year of many events and welcome the new year in 2019.

The countdown festival, which runs for 35 minutes from 11:35 p.m., will feature a party-concept special gala show and a spectacular fireworks display to celebrate the New Year.
First of all, the special gala show features the best-loved performances of Everland, including shooting waterfun and Happy Halloween parties.
Customers dance and sing with performers and heighten the atmosphere of an exciting end-of-year party, with the characters of Everland pre-announced dance moves and the stage of the performance being set right in front of the audience.
Also, after the 20-minute special gala show has matured, the cast and the audience sing “Auld Lang Syne” to symbolize the year of the year, and a spectacular fireworks display will be held at midnight to welcome the new year.
In particular, 15,000 fireworks, which are more than three times bigger than usual, will be fired in three-dimensional form at the center and top of the Sinjeon Stage for about 10 minutes, creating a fantastic and beautiful spectacle in the night sky.
On the last day of this year, special performances to wrap up the year’s end will also be held.
First, “Adieu 2018! Gold Winter Concert” will be held for 70 minutes from 9:30 p.m. at the Grand Stage, a warm indoor performance venue.
At the concert, Korea’s top singers and musicians including soprano Kim Soo, jazz vocalist Kim Hye-mi, and tenor Lee Gyu-cheol will perform classical music with a sweet atmosphere.
In addition, special performances by an Acappella group ‘Dia’ will be performed twice a day at 7:50 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. on the stage, making it perfect for families to enjoy the children’s songs and animation theme songs.
The “Adu 2018! Gold Winter Concert” and “Acapella” are free for anyone who enters Everland.
On the other hand, Everland will open its countdown program until 1 a.m., increasing its operating hours by about 4 hours from the usual weekend.
Also, public transportations that operate in Gangnam, Yangjae, Suwon, Yongin and Bundang (Seohyeon) will be extended until 1:30 a.m. on this day for customers who come home late after attending the countdown festival.
