According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), as of 4:20 pm today, the national daytime maximum temperature was 9 to 19 degrees Celsius, which was one to two degrees higher than normal (10.7 to 16.7 degrees).
In particular, the Gangneung area rose 3.9 degrees from the normal level of 14.3 degrees, and the eastern area was 3 degrees higher than normal.
The temperature is expected to drop sharply tonight.
The lowest temperature in the morning of the 16th, which is the day of the Korean SAT, will be 2 to 5 degrees lower than normal. The daytime peak temperature will be 1 to 5 degrees below normal, and it will be chilly during the day.
An official at the Korea Meteorological Administration said, “Today, temperatures have been higher than usual during the day time, but the direction of the wind has changed.” As the cold air expands in the northwest, the temperature will fall after the sun goes down.”
The Korea Meteorological Administration expects that raindrops will fall in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Chungcheong Province from early morning to early morning, or snowflakes will be blown for the first time this year.
