G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji-yong, 31), a member of the group Big Bang, has been discharged from the military after completing his active duty in the Army.
G-Dragon reported his discharge from the Army’s Ground Operations Command in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, at around 8 a.m. on Oct 27. Thousands of fans gathered here to watch the entire G-Dragon scene.
“I’m back from my military service,” G-Dragon said. “Thank you for waiting and thank you for coming.” G-Dragon also saluted, expressing his feeling that he will return to his main job and faithfully engage in his duties in the future, not as a soldier.
