K-pop artist G-Dragon from BigBang who has been doing compulsory military service since last year, surfaced Saturday to attend his sister’s wedding. Instagram photos showed the former boy band’s leader wearing a neat tuxedo and smiling behind the newlyweds at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul Hotel’s Aston House in Gwangjin District. G-Dragon posted on Instagram photos of the wedding, titled “Bride of October,” ― his sister Kwon Da-mi.
It had been uncertain whether the YG Entertainment singer would attend the wedding. The occasion itself was a high-profile affair ― the marriage of a female fashion industry entrepreneur who runs the import shop Rare Market in Seoul’s Gangnam District, and actor Kim Min-Joon. G-Dragon is expected to complete military service with the 3rd Army’s Infantry Division in Cheorwon County, Gangwon Province, on Oct. 24.
