The fan meeting titled “Go PyeongChang 2018 with Lee Dong Wook” comes as a part of “Christmas in March” festival. The event aims to popularize Gangwon Province as well as encourage people from various countries to further enjoy the Paralympics.
On March 13, 1,000 lucky fans will be drawn to join the“Go PyeongChang 2018 with Lee Dong Wook” fan meeting and it will be co-hosted by Korea Tourism Organization and Gangwon Province.
HaB Korea has operated this one day tour on that day and I’d like to show you how was it look a like.
Tour schedule starts at 09:00 am by moving from Cheongnyangni station to Gangneung Station by KTX. Since early morning, many customers gathered at Cheongnyangni station to meet with Lee Dong Wook.
Everyone who booked the tour was given a gift from Lee Dong Wook, which includes snacks that can be eaten while traveling to Gangneung Station.
KPOP dances and fun recreation events were held on the train while traveling on KTX trains for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to Gangneung Station.
After arriving at Gangneung Station, we took a media photo with the guests selected from the event and started a tour of K-Drama Dokkaebi shooting location. After the tour of K-Drama Dokkaebi shooting location, everyone moved to the Gangneung Art Center to meet with Lee Dong Wook.
Lee Dong Wook fan meeting lasted about 2 hours, and everyone had a good time with various events and audience participation. At the end of the fan meeting,Lee Dong Wook told us to meet at the ice hockey stadium which game will be started at 7 pm, and people finished the fan meeting with anticipation.
After the fan meeting, we made a tour of Gangneung Coffee Street for 1 hour and 30 minutes free time. On the way out, ABS-CBN News (a Filipino media and entertainment group based in Quezon City) asked for coverage and conducted a short interview with one of our Filipino clients.
The Paralympic ice hockey game was much more exciting than I expected(It’s the first time I’ve ever seen ice hockey) and it was fun. I do not know anything about ice hockey, but the atmosphere of the stadium and the various events leading to the gap have been very impressive.
Most of all, Lee Dong Wook really appeared on the stadium to see ice hockey! During the middle break of the game, Lee Dong Wook enjoyed communication with the audience and made many people more enjoyable.
A surprise gift was given to all the fans who participated in the tour of Lee Dong Wook fan meeting. As for the customers who participated in both fan meetings and ice hockey, Lee Dong Wook distributed his first photo book as a gift, it worths KRW 43,000!
On this day, there were about 600 foreign fans and 400 Korean fans from all over the country. Maybe it was an unforgettable day for everyone.
