BTS’ agency Big Hit Entertainment said it will officially open “HOUSE OF BTS,” a BTS pop-up store located in Gangnam, Seoul, at 10 a.m. today and operate it for 80 days. The “HOUSE OF BTS,” to be unveiled today, consists of the main showroom encompassing about 200 different types of MD, a showroom featuring BTS’ music videos and characters, and a space for MD and F&B purchases, all of which can be viewed, experienced and purchased.
The main showroom on the B1 floor is decorated with a theme of MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA’s pink color, and all MDs sold at “HOUSE OF BTS” will be displayed. In addition, a graphic display featuring BTS’ symbolism, an AR kiosk that can take pictures with BTS characters and a large display that continuously screens music videos of BTS’ hit songs will provide a variety of things to enjoy. The showroom on the second and third floors has prepared various elements to allow visitors to feel the space with full senses. The “DNA Theme Zone” has been created as a projection room with a colorful space background in the music video. If visitors operate touchpad located in the middle, they can experience fantastic interactions that move entire three-way space. “Boy With Luv Theme Zone” has prepared a piano that appears in the music video for “Boy With Luv. Feat. Halsey,” so it can play along with the performance in the music video. The “Hwayangyeonhwa Theme Zone” embodies a bus stop that appears in “Hwayangyeonhwa The Note,” allowing visitors to experience as if they are in a story. In addition, the outdoor garden on the third floor also features ‘Army Bomb Theme Zone.’ Large Army Bombs, about 2 meters tall, are set up everywhere to provide a special experience for visitors at night.
MD, which will be introduced at the HOUSE OF BTS, will also be the first to be unveiled. New products with the theme of BTS’ hit songs such as “DNA,” “MIC Drop,” “FAKE LOVE,” “IDOL” and “Boy With Luv” Feat. Halsey will be unveiled in sequence every week. The Seoul version of the City Signature MD, which was showcased at the pop-up store of the “LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF” tour city, will also be showcased for the first time at “HOUSE OF BTS.” You can buy various BTS MD, including buildings representing Seoul, culture, and food that BTS members enjoyed in Seoul, and T-shirts featuring items that contain.
Also, the new F&B zone, which was not seen in previous pop-up stores, has been added to the show. It will offer drinks and dessert menus for fans who have finished watching the store, and will also introduce a special menu featuring BTS later on. The “HOUSE OF BTS” will also be operated in three Japanese cities — Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka — from Nov. 23 to Dec. 29. The pop-up store, which will be held at Japan’s large offline shopping mall “Shibuya 109,” will apply the concept of “HOUSE OF BTS” in Seoul. “HOUSE OF BTS” is a large-scale complex experience space that has been organized to enjoy BTS’ contents in various forms, Big Hit Entertainment said, adding that it will continue to provide visitors with fresh experiences by regularly updating its internal content, such as space composition and MD, on a regular basis.
Meanwhile, BTS will host “LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF [THE FINAL]” for three days on Oct. 26, 27 and 29 at the main Olympic Stadium in Jamsil, Seoul, and will decorate the grand finale of the LOVE YOURSELF tour that began in August last year.
