Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (Chung Jang Yong Kim Jin-Yong) will work with Incheon Tourism Corporation (President Chae Hong-ki) in Songdo Central Park, a famous spot of IFEZ (Incheon Free Economic Zone), from October 13 (Friday) ‘Incheon Songdo Light Festival‘.
Songdo’s night view is spectacular, and there are remarkable numbers of family members enjoying walks, lovers enjoying a date, and walks in the spring and autumn when the weather is good. ‘Incheon Songdo Lights Festival’ will expand the illumination facilities such as illuminations and Ruminarie as a folding screen for the Songdo night view from autumn 2015, transforming Central Park into a more attractive space and enriching the citizens’ autumn evenings.
Especially this year, they took the concept as a family festival with beautiful light and music called ‘Urban Night Garden‘. From GCF Bridge in Central Park to Songdo Hanok Village, a variety of lighting facilities including LED trees and character lights are installed on the 600-meter-long section of the park. On Saturdays and Sundays, street performances are held throughout the venue, make a wish, heart notes, stamp tour, and more.
On Friday, 13th (Fri), the opening ceremony is scheduled for a special performance along with performance enjoying hot Friday, so many citizens who want to send a ‘cheer’ can actually spend a romantic Friday with the light.
