What a bad day for Army all over the world. Jungkook, the youngest member of K-pop titan BTS, has been embroiled in a romance rumor with an alleged tattooist. However, Big Hit Entertainment, representing BTS, denied the rumor. The rumor started Monday when a CCTV footage of a man hugging a woman from behind was disclosed in the online community.
An Internet user claimed the man was Jungkook on Geoje Island in South Gyeongsang Province. “My friend runs a shop on Geoje and Jungkook visited two days ago. He was to check Jungkook’s identification, but turned Jungkook away because the singer had no identification card,” he wrote. The singer reportedly travelled around Geoje while he was on an extended break. Online users have been speculating that the woman on the capture is a tattooist. At first, they also claimed the man on the photo was Korean rapper Hash Swan, not Jungkook, but the rapper denied this. Big Hit said it would take legal action against leakage of CCTV footage.
