King of K-Pop ‘Rain’ Benefit Concert for the Victims of War in Marawi

November 3, Weather Forecast: Rain is Coming! Mark your calendars because the ‘King of K-Pop’ who started it all is back and will headline the ‘Rise 2 Shine ‘ at the Smart’s Araneta Coliseum. A night filled with entertainment and festivities is given as a purpose of this concert but behind it is a charitable purpose, concert ticket money goes to the victims of war siege in Marawi. No doubt, our King of K-Pop is not just a good-looking guy, he got the good heart and soul.

 

It was seven years ago when Rain came to the Philippines and held a concert on Sept 11 with boy band U-KISS and Christian Bautista. He also filmed the Korean TV series “The Fugitive: Plan B” in the Philippines in 2010 with co-stars Daniel Henney and Lee Na-young.

Rain married Kim Tae Hee in Seoul last January and announced in May that the actress was 15 weeks pregnant. Kim Tae Hee is expected to give birth to their first baby by end of October or early November.

The singer and actor will release a new album in early December. Rain is preparing an album comeback project with intense colors, according to his agency Rain Company. The album’s title track is a hip-hop song that will highlight Rain’s masculinity.

His last album was “Rain Effect” released in January 2014 that contained 10 tracks including the lead songs “30 Sexy” and “La Song.” Rain will also host the TV reality show “The Unit,” an idol rebooting project similar to “Produce 101,” that will air starting on Oct. 28.

In line with the concert, Let us all show the spirit of benevolent giving by showing tremendous love and support for this benefit concert. Let us all celebrate for a good cause!
