Actually, I didn’t know that this many foreigners were coming to Korea just for a pre-wedding photoshoot. I saw an article about Chinese taking wedding pictures at Ewha Woman’s University campus in Seoul, but I thought it was only popular among Chinese people, which apparently is not true.
Korean people usually take wedding pictures in indoor-studios or Jeju Island which has been the most popular destination of honeymoon among Korean people. Of course, there are a lot of young new-weds who go abroad for the photoshoot.
As Korea has been getting popularity all over the world thanks to K-Pop and K-Drama, more and more foreigners visit Korea for a pre-wedding photoshoot, too.
There are countless concepts and locations you can choose for wedding pictures. Once you choose the theme you want, the studio will set up according to your requests. Then on photoshoot day, you will choose tuxedo and dresses in the morning. Staff will alter the costumes into your size. (It doesn’t take much time as many people might think)

As you know, rent in Seoul is extremely expensive. So it’s not something you can just do to have a huge studio for both outdoor and indoor photoshoot. So, usually, studios in Seoul operate the indoor photoshoot at studios and go outside for the outdoor photoshoot after taking pictures inside.

Streets of Hongik University which is one of the most famous tourist spots in Seoul will be one option for your outdoor photoshoot. In the season when cherry blossoms are blooming(Usually around April every year), Seonyoodo Park near Han River that is filled with cherry blossoms will be another option. They sometimes visit Ilsan lake park which is also a beautiful place to take photoshoot in spring.
Basically, the shooting place is arranged by the studio, but if there’s a place you really want to take photos(In Seoul), tell us in advance when you make a booking. We can discuss it with the studio beforehand.
You might worry about carrying lots of stuff on the shooting day because obviously you will need a lot of things to bring for one and only photoshoot chance! Throughout the whole photoshoot, you may want to fix your makeup, or get changed and dressed up properly, and etc. But the wedding photoshoot day must be all about you two!
