Korean Visa Express for Filipinos will discontinue starting September 09, 2019

This 27th of  August the Korea Embassy in the Philippines released a notice of discontinuing to accept Korean Visa Express applications.

Korean Visa Express for Filipinos will discontinue starting September 09, 2019

Effectively on September 07, 2019 the Korean Visa Express in the Philippines will discontinue due to the increase in the number of Filipinos going to the country.

This is in-line with the Change of Visa Processing Period for Filipinos. Starting from 22nd of August 2019. Visa processing period of temporary visitors (C-3) will be increased from 7 days to 10 working days because of the increased number of Filipino visitors in Korea.

According to the Korea Embassy in the Philippines, for those who will apply for a Korean visa, you may submit it as early as possible.
