Actor and singer Lee Seung Gi was discharged from his duty on the 31st October.
Lee Seung Gi was formally discharged from the military at Jeungpyeong County in North Chungcheong Province, after completing his mandatory requirement as a male Korean citizen. Over 400 fans happily greeted the star, who thanked them for coming so far despite the cold weather.

Lee Seung Gi said, “I feel like unreal that I actually finished my duty today, this could be needed some time to get used to it. I am glad that I have completed my one year and nine months military service safely without being injured, thanks to your interest and support. I got good energy. I will be able to greet you with a quick return.”
Lee joined the active service on February last year. Lee Seung Gi carried out his service as a member of the special forces, an experience he said he was thankful for. “At first I was very taken aback when I received my placement. I worried a lot, but…it was a very fun and grateful experience. It felt like I was learning how to find happiness even during extreme moments of suffering,” Lee Seung Gi revealed. “My time as a soldier has been something very precious to me.”
Lee Seung Gi’s attention is focused on his next work afterward.
