“Let’s Eat” Yoon Doo-joon will have to report to the military

KPOP group Highlight Yoon Doo-joon will have to report to the military this Friday after failing to pass an exam that would have allowed him to serve his mandatory military service at a police station at a later date.

Yoon, a member of the boy band Highlight, is currently playing the lead male role in the hit tvN drama series “Let’s Eat.” Yoon has finished 12 out of the 16 episodes of the series, but will be unable to finish the last four episodes if he enlists in the army this week.

Yoon’s agency Around Us Entertainment has yet to make a public statement about this situation but did admit that they were trying to delay the date as long as possible so he could finish filming. However, things do not look good for Yoon as he already delayed his enlistment due to a knee injury in 2011.

The “Let’s Eat” team was made aware of the issue on Tuesday. On Wednesday evening, tvN announced that the network will be ending the series early – instead of the originally planned 16 episodes, the drama will wrap up after episode 14.
