Mwave, Mnet’s entertainment-only website, is conducting an online poll to find out who gave the best introductory performance at the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

The weeklong poll began Friday and lists five candidates. It has already seen over 1,000 votes in only a few hours.
So far Kang Daniel’s solo performance has garnered 817 votes, 63.2 percent of the total, putting Kang ahead of BTS, which performed a remixed version of “O!RUL8,2?” from its first EP of the same title and snagged 16.8 percent of votes.
GOT7’s “Lullaby” came third with 11.8 percent, followed by Seventeen’s “Getting Closer” with 8.1 percent and R&B star Heize’s “First Sight” with 0.1 percent.
This year’s MAMA ran for a week, Dec. 10-14, in three countries, premiering in Korea and moving on to Japan for a fans’ choice event before wrapping up in Hong Kong.
The Mnet Asian Music Awards were launched in 2009 by South Korean media conglomerate CJ ENM’s television network Mnet.
