On December 17, the morning temperature will drop to a minimum of 19 degrees Celsius, and the strong cold will be raging.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said on the 16th that the lowest temperature in the morning of the 17th will fall below minus 12 degrees in central inland, eastern North Jeolla Province, inland North Gyeongsang Province, northern Gyeonggi Province, Yeongseo in Gangwon Province, northern North Chungcheong Province and northern Gyeongsang Province.

With strong winds, the sensible temperature will be lower, and it will remain below freezing during the day.

Morning lows are expected to be minus 19 degrees Celsius to minus 1 degree Celsius, and daytime highs are expected to be minus 2 to 6 degrees Celsius.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said, “We should pay special attention to health care, such as the decline in immunity due to cold weather, and we are also concerned about damage to facilities and crops such as freezing water pipes and vinyl house crops.”

Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Yeongdong, Gangwon-do, Dongbu, and Gyeongsang-do, where the special drying warning went into effect, are very dry in the atmosphere and other areas, so be careful to prevent various fires such as forest fires.

The cold will cool down briefly on the 18th and the temperature will recover to the normal level, but the cold is expected to continue for a while as the cold air falls again on the 19th.
