The 25th Taebaeksan Snow Festival

The 25th Taebaeksan Snow Festival, which is cruising to attract one million tourists, is busy on the 8th day for the weekend.

According to the Taebaek City of Gangwon Province on January 26, there are over 360,000 tourists from the opening day to the 25th, and snow sculpture is in full swing to welcome new tourists on weekends in Taebaeksan National Park.

The large snow sculpture, which can be called the snowmobile festival, attracts admiration itself, but the process of making and refining snow sculptures is also a new attraction for tourists.

Taebaek city has been repairing the snow sculptures of the fairgrounds where snow sculptures such as Taebaeksan National Park, 365 Safe Town, Descendants of the sun filming location, and so on are set at an average temperature of minus 18 degrees from 22nd to 25th.

More than 230,000 tourists visit the first weekend of the Taebaekan Snow Festival, and the city expects more tourists to visit the festival than the first weekend this weekend when the cold winds are at a standstill.

Therefore, Taebaek city will arrange safety personnel and parking agents for the festival grounds, roadside, Indian side, parking lot, and plan to take measures to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the vehicle operation and safety of tourists.

Introduction
Taebaeksan Mountain Snow Festival presents large-scaled snow sculptures in the national park, Jungang-ro, Hwangji Pond and other downtown areas. Also, various programs like Taebaeksan Mountain Snowflake Hiking Competition, Igloo Café, ice fountain, snow sliding, starlight festival, and more are planned for a fun and fantastic festival.
