NAMSAN BOTANICAL GARDEN
Many foreigners who come visit Korea want to take colorful pictures of Korea’s fall. With spring and fall getting shorter and shorter due to the effects of climate change, you can enjoy Korea’s fall for only a few weeks from now. So I decided to introduce a hidden place in Seoul where you can feel the flavor of autumn without crowds. If you have ever searched Korea’s tourist attractions, you may have heard of Seoul Tower(N-Tower). Near this famous tourist attraction, there’s this hidden photo spot, called “Namsan Outdoor Botanical Garden”. Of course, some of you might know it, but compared to other fall photo spots in Seoul, it’s really not that well known to foreigners. Located right next to the Namsan botanical garden(indoor), you can take beautiful autumn pictures here, so you can enjoy both the botanical garden and the forest at the same time.
If you are going to visit this outdoor garden by public transportation, I recommend you to take a bus. You can use the Seoul metro, and come from Hangangjin Station or Itaewon Station (Line 6), but it takes about 20 minutes by walk from the subway station to here. This outdoor garden is located right in front of the bus stop “Hyatt Hotel” if you ride the Seoul bus Route 402 or 405. There will be no difficulty in using the buses as they pass through many major subway stations, such as City Hall Station, Seoul Station, Sinsa Station and Nonhyeon Station. Just remember that you have to get off at the bus stop “Hyatt Hotel”!
