The 2017 Itaewon Global Village Festival will be held at Itaewon Tourism Zone for two days from this Saturday(October 14) to Sunday(October 15). The parade of the Ministry of National Defense, the World Folk Performing Team, and the Korean Traditional Performance Team will be held.

The Itaewon Global Village Festival was held for the first time in 2002 to combine traditional Korean culture with foreign cultures of Itaewon and activate Itaewon area and attract tourists. It has been established as a representative festival in Seoul held in the autumn with various attractions. It has become a popular festival of food from all over the world, a parade of more than 800 participants, a concert by K-POP singers who are central to the Korean Wave, The exchange event brings pleasure to tourists visiting Itaewon.
