This weekend will be very cold, with a big daily temperature of cloudy skies across the country, and there will be rain or snow in the central part of the country until Saturday morning.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), snow will begin in northern Gyeonggi Province early in the morning on Saturday due to the influence of a trough of air pressure southeast of Balhae Bay and snow and rain in other central regions including Seoul in the morning.
Temperatures are expected to range from minus 3 ~ 6 in Seoul, minus 4 ~ 6 in Daejeon, minus 1 ~ 9 in Gangneung, minus 3 ~ 8 in Gwangju, minus 3 ~ 13 in Daegu, minus 1 ~ 10 in Busan and 6 ~ 10 in Jeju.
Sunday’s temperature will be 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in Seoul, minus 4 to 8 degrees in Daejeon, 0 to 11 in Gangneung, 0 to 10 in Gwangju, minus 1 to 10 in Daegu, 2 to 12 in Busan and 8 to 11 in Jeju Island, largely affected by high pressure located near Shanghai, China.
