Twice’s Japan debut single ‘ONE MORE TIME’ topped Japan’s Oricon Daily Chart.
Twice released their Japan debut single ‘One More Time’ on October 18th. On the same day, based on the Oricon daily chart, ‘One More Time’ sold 94,957 copies in a single day and ranked # 1 on the single chart.
It is a glimpse of the popularity of the Tweeds that hit the Japanese archipelago. Even though it was the first single to be released in Japan, Twice showed off the popularity of the Oricon chart at once.
Twice has the “Best album” released in Japan and ranked second on the Oricon Daily album chart before, and after five days in the public, Twice was in the top of the list with rolling back in the chart, and I kept on top for three consecutive days.
In addition, it sold over 270,000 copies even though it was a debut album, and it was recognized as a platinum record by Japan Record Association. Thanks to this popularity, Twice will be on the showcase tour of eight times in six cities in Japan in January. This is the first time to hold a full-scale showcase tour.
Twice will be releasing their 1st album, “Twicetagram,” at 6 pm on October 30, and will return to his title song “Likey.”
