TWICE’s second single, ‘Candy Pop'(released in Japan), topped the local line music charts.
According to JYP Entertainment on January 12, ‘Candy Pop’, which was pre-released as a 0 o’clock sound source on the 7th of next month, took the top spot on the line music ‘Top 100’ chart.
The music video of ‘Candy Pop’, which was released along with the sound source, got attention as members appeared as animation characters. This work started with the virtual idol upbringing program in 2010 and expanded to cartoon, TV, animation, game, novel, etc. TV animation director Takahiko Kyogoku and the production team. The story of the music video was made by Park Jin-young, the producer of the agency.
TWICE will launch ‘Twice Showcase Live Tour 2018-Candy Pop’ in eight cities in six cities starting from Aichi Setoshi Cultural Center on the 19th. Also on the 1st of next month, ‘Twice Candy Pop Cafe’ will open in Tokyo and Osaka to share the world view of music video with fans.
They made their debut in Japan last June with their best album, ‘#Twice’ and their first single ‘One More Time’ (October) in Japan.
