BTS unveiled the stage of the new song ‘Dynamite’ for the first time.
BTS appeared in the ‘2020 MTV Video Music Awards’ (VMA), which was broadcast live on the morning of the 31st (Korean time).
BTS wore a suit costume and stood on the stage. The members showed a splendid performance to the cheerful disco rhythm against the background of the city night view. In particular, they drew attention by digesting a perfect live with a cheerful expression and choreography.
BTS’s new song ‘Dynamite’ contains a message of hope for people around the world who are having a difficult time with COVID-19. It is a disco-pop genre, and you can feel the positive energy of BTS through the melody and pleasant lyrics that make you feel excited and pleasant just by listening.
At the awards ceremony that day, BTS was nominated for a total of 4 categories including ‘BEST GROUP’,’BEST POP’,’BEST K-POP’, and ‘BEST CHOREOGRAPHY’.
BTS won the Best Group and Best K-Pop awards. After receiving the Best Group award, RM said, “I am very grateful to ARMY and VMA for allowing me to enjoy this glory for the second year in a row.”
Meanwhile, ‘VMA’ is an awards ceremony hosted by MTV, and is one of the four largest in the United States along with ‘Billboard Music Awards (BBMA)’, ‘American Music Awards (AMA)’ and ‘Grammy Awards’. It is counted as a music awards ceremony.
